Timed Auction Terms & Conditions

By registering and placing a bid, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

To participate in any auction, all bidders must create an account and provide accurate information, including their full name, phone number, and shipping address (an email address is optional). Russian Icon Legacy reserves the right to approve or reject any registration at its sole discretion.

• All bids are binding.
• The highest valid bid at the closing of the auction will be considered the winning bid.
• User identities will remain private and only the bidder’s chosen nickname (e.g., User123) will be displayed publicly during the auction.

When the auction countdown reaches zero, the highest valid bidder will automatically be declared the winner.

Russian Icon Legacy reserves the right to cancel, extend, or withdraw any auction in the event of technical issues, suspected fraudulent activity, or any unforeseen circumstances.

The winning bidder will receive an automatic confirmation through their Russian Icon Legacy account after the auction ends. Bidders are responsible for regularly checking their in-app notification centre and account dashboard for results and payment instructions. Payment must be completed within 3 calendar days of receiving the invoice. Available payment methods will be provided after the auction. Please contact us if you require additional information before bidding.

Failure to complete payment within the required period may result in cancellation of the purchase, suspension of the bidder’s account, and the item being offered to another bidder or relisted.

After payment is received, Russian Icon Legacy will contact the buyer to arrange either:

• Personal collection (where applicable), or
• Shipping through a recommended courier.

Shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, insurance, import fees, and any destination-related charges remain entirely the buyer’s responsibility. Shipping arrangements can be coordinated upon request depending on the destination.

All items are sold “as is” and in the condition shown in the photographs and described in the listing. Any known restoration, repairs, conservation work, replacements, or condition observations will be disclosed in the item description whenever known. Buyers are encouraged to carefully review all photographs and descriptions and request additional information before placing a bid.

Each icon is catalogued according to our knowledge, research, and professional opinion. Descriptions regarding subject, date, origin, attribution, period, dimensions, and condition are provided in good faith. Unless specifically stated otherwise, descriptions represent our expert opinion and should not be interpreted as a legal guarantee.

Because auction purchases are final, all successful bids are considered binding and all sales are final. Returns or cancellations will only be considered if there has been a material error in the description made by Russian Icon Legacy.

Russian Icon Legacy shall not be responsible for delays or losses caused by shipping companies, customs authorities, force majeure, internet interruptions, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

In the event of technical problems affecting bidding, Russian Icon Legacy reserves the right to suspend, extend, or restart an auction if necessary to ensure fairness to all participants.

Russian Icon Legacy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on the website at the time of bidding shall apply.
