A powerful and narrative icon depicting the moment Christ reveals His wound to the Apostle Thomas, affirming the truth of the Resurrection. This scene, known as the Incredulity of Thomas, carries deep spiritual meaning — symbolizing faith, doubt, and divine revelation. Christ stands at the center holding the Resurrection banner, surrounded by the Apostles, while Thomas reaches forward in a gesture that defines the entire composition. The icon reflects a late Imperial Russian workshop tradition, with expressive figures, bright pigments, and a balanced devotional composition. The presence of God the Father in the upper register is characteristic of later iconography, reinforcing the theological depth of the scene.
