A beautifully preserved mid-19th-century Russian Orthodox icon depicting four of the most revered miracle-working icons of the Mother of God: The Unfading Bloom, The Feodorovskaya Mother of God, The Unexpected Joy, and The Three-Handed Mother of God (Troeruchitsa). Framed by Saints Cyrus, John, Cosmas, and Damian, this richly symbolic composition celebrates the Virgin’s intercession, healing miracles, and enduring protection of the faithful through some of the most venerated Marian images in Orthodox tradition. Hand-painted in traditional egg tempera on an original wooden panel, the icon is enriched by its elegant gilded backgrounds, finely executed miniature compositions, and harmonious arrangement of sacred figures. The balanced design, refined palette, and careful craftsmanship reflect the quality of a skilled provincial Russian workshop, preserving both its devotional significance and artistic beauty.
