An exceptional Orthodox icon depicting The Last Supper, with Christ seated at the center and surrounded by the Twelve Apostles. The Eucharistic chalice occupies the heart of the composition, emphasizing the sacred institution of the Holy Eucharist. Traditionally hand-painted on wood, the icon is distinguished by its unusual shaped panel, finely rendered figures, luminous gilded halos and warm, deeply aged palette. The elaborate composition and distinctive form make it a particularly decorative and collectible example of Orthodox sacred art. Preserved with its beautiful historical character, showing natural craquelure, surface wear, edge losses and traces of restoration consistent with age.
