A beautifully preserved mid-19th-century Russian Orthodox Festal Icon depicting the Twelve Great Feasts (Dodekaorton) with the magnificent central scene of the Resurrection of Christ (Descent into Hades / Anastasis). This sacred composition brings together the principal feasts of the Orthodox liturgical year, making it one of the most celebrated and collectible themes in Russian iconography.
